Homemade 20th Birthday Card

meet around a paper at the Blue Tree

on Friday, February 11 20.30 at the toy library " Blue Tree" in Via Aldo Moro (in the building of the center), in Pontinia will be busy reading: " The Man Who Planted Trees " by Jean Giono. The story of the simple plot, conveys a great message for humanity. At the heart of the story is a shepherd for forty years, continued to plant trees before oak, beech and birch then, turning slowly in a desolate valley like a big forest. This commitment is ritualized every day for the good of nature. The central relationship between man and nature, kindles hope for both feeds a bond of support and cohabitation. The simple tree, the symbolism is a collective message of life that sprouts, grows, protecting and aggregates. So the man with his little effort in the uncontaminated nature creates a life change that reality. First pastor, will switch to a beekeeper, to create a village of 28 people. The reading will be held by Maria Di Girolamo of the library Neverland . During the evening the master of watercolor Valerio Lilbralato paint a subject inspired by the reading at the end of the evening, the painting will be raffled among those present. Admission is free, open to all. This initiative sought and promoted by the "Cooperative Extrascuola 90" is an opportunity to meet and spend time reading and discover the stories that we enjoy, to exchange views and share with readings, because, as in "The Man Who Planted Trees" , the tree that is born can create a shared environment with the human, a book can create a bond with another man.
